I have worked with a number of new techniques for applying paint to glass, & have an abundance of new ideas about constructing pieces from multiple sheets of glass. I’ve been influenced by other Seattle artists & have a  “Housing Project Series” that stems from my past work in Seattle as a Real Estate Agent & long time volunteer coordinator for the Pilchuck Glass School.
I’m interested in the challenges of creating effects on the
back of the glass that can appear textural when viewed
through the flat reflective surface of the front of the glass.
I continually discover the freedoms & limitations of the medium.
There is also a bit of danger & of course the possibility of the glass breaking. I’m really enjoying the exploration & hope you will enjoy the results.
